Customer Reviews: Impressive for Price September 2, 2010 NateG 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. Especially in the audio industry. I bought this amp power kit thinking that I wanted a cheap alternative to the $100 kicker wires best buy is trying to get me to buy. Sure kicker is a great brand name, great quality, but for what I need, this does the trick (especially when my amp is pretty weak and my 12" kicker comps aren't exactly the top of the line sub-woofers but are very very good for the $200 price). I would hardly call this 8 gauge but they are still pretty thick. I am definitely not regretting this purchase. Do not buy if you think you are getting the best deal on the face of this earth, however do buy if you are looking for a cheap alternative to the brand names in best buys and other stores. Very cheap on that aspect. For what it is worth though, this is a great price. I paid roughly $20 for this kit and it has plenty of wire.
Considering I drive a chevy cobalt, I don't need much power wire so I have plenty of wire to last me if I made a few mistakes in cutting, which I didn't. I for sure recommend this product for those people looking to get a better system in their car. I do not recommend this to people looking for the top of the line in stereo systems.
Excellent value for a quality wiring kit August 27, 2010 Paul McCain (Ohio) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
First off, I am not a car audio expert, though I did quite a bit of research on the topic before installing a subwoofer in my car. The wires included in this kit appear to be of substantial quality, and have operated flawlessly for almost two months since installation. The length of the cables were more than sufficient to run from the battery and head unit to the trunk of my Grand Am, and should fit any car short of a limousine. Another bonus is the many connectors, zip-ties and fuse holder (with 50 amp fuse!). Overall, a quality wiring kit that will improve the ease of installation of an amplifier in your vehicle.
Smooth install August 26, 2010 ut158 (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was my first time installing an amp in my car. I didn't really know what I would need, so I got this kit and did a few Google searches to find out what I needed to do. Everything I needed was in this kit with 1 minor exception: you will want to get some paint or something to protect any metal you drill into when installing the fuse, etc. I used some nail polish my wife had and I suspect that will work, but it would have been nice if this kit included some sort of rust protectant. Still, no biggie. I'm perfectly happy with this kit and would recommend it to anyone.

Awesome kit for great price January 12, 2010 Scott Bornhoft 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Most amp kits start at $25 and they go up to $100 - I got a great deal on this kit and the wire is high quality. If you are going to install any sub or amp in your car I recommend these kits
